Olimila Gourmet Emporium is a family run business, co-founded by Alex and Maricruz Ferrari. They decided to change the name of the company from the Ferrari Olive Oil Company to a name that meant a little more to their family, Olimila. Olimila is a combination of their twin daughters Olivia and Mila. Since they were the main reason they decide to start the company, they thought it was only appropriate.
Alex and Maricruz found their culinary passion, on their babymoon, amid Napa Valley's rolling hills. Though their trip to Northern California set the couple squarely in the heart of picturesque vineyard country, it wasn't wine that piqued their taste buds, but freshly pressed extra-virgin olive oil. Won over by its flavor, they were inspired to start the Olimila Gourmet Emporium to share it with the public. With no retail experience, these crazy entrepreneurs opened up shop and the rest as they say is history.
Today, the Olimila draws on a network of local and international olive farms and suppliers to distribute organic varietals, magical blends, flavored oils and gourmet goodies. Crowning this collection is the Unicorn Tears Artisan Blend, a mix of Blood Orange EVOO, Aged Fig Balsamic and of course unicorn tears.
